Yellow!

Today was the day for my man George Hincapie. After seven years of being Lance's right-hand man, George is finally stepping into the sun. A great prologue yesterday followed by a surprise intermediate spring today put him in yellow for the first time in his life, only the fourth American to ever wear the Tour de France's yellow jersey. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come with smart, strong riding and the guts and legs to pull off some big feats.

My predictions:
  • George will lose the yellow jersey tomorrow. It's tactics.
  • George will blast the time trial coming up.
  • George will win the Tour.
If you couldn't tell, I think George is the man. For full information on race results and standings, check my links section. Velonews is the best site for easy to read info, and they now have video interviews and things that are pretty cool. Also note George's own website with a frequently updated news page and also information about Hincapie Sportswear, his clothing company.

Go George!
